The Professional Development service program engages current college football student-athletes in our organization by merging their academic and athletic experiences into tangible job skills, leading to improved academic performance, increased graduation rates and higher job placement.

Due to the football student-athletes’ year round commitment to the sport, they often lack the opportunity for off-campus summer internships. College students can significantly benefit from the internship experience by:

• Exploring potential career options and clarifying goals to help choose the right major
• Applying concepts and theories learned in the classroom to a real-world setting
• Gaining practical knowledge and enhanced skills in their chosen career field
